I. INTRODUCTION;
There are over 4,900 accredited colleges, universities and institutions of advanced and higher learning in the United States of America. In 2010, America’s colleges and universities awarded over 2 million associate and bachelor’s degrees, 575,000 Masters Degrees and 139,000 Doctorate and Professional degrees. America has by far the highest number of colleges and universities per capita, a select number of which include the most advanced, world recognized and prestigious institutions of higher learning.
Of the total 840 Nobel Prize awards in the Arts, Humanities and Sciences through 2011, 326 were awarded to American university educated scholars, 7 of whom were nationals of either The People’s Republic of China, Taiwan or the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong. Of those 5 attended, became research fellows until retirement or remain continuing scholars at leading U. S. scientific research universities.
Name | Nobel Award | Award Year | College / University |
Yuan Tseh Lee | Chemistry | 1986 | University of California-Berkeley |
Chen Ning Yang | Physics | 1957 | University of Chicago |
Tsung-Dao Lee | Physics | 1957 | University of Chicago |
Daniel Chee Tsui | Physics | 1998 | University of Chicago |
Roger Yonchien Tsien | Chemistry | 2008 | Harvard University |
However, of the almost 5,000 institutions of higher education in the U.S., only a very few select private and state colleges and universities, which number less than 50 – or 1 % of the total – are recognized as elite and among the world’s best.
Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, Cornell, Penn, Dartmouth, Stanford, MIT, Georgetown, Duke, Notre Dame, University of Chicago, University of Virginia, University of Michigan, University of California-Berkeley, Cal Poly, Georgia Tech and a very limited number of other colleges and universities are recognized globally as offering an assured passport of academic excellence, having established the “Gold Standard” in advanced education.
Because of their history, small student body and elite faculties, these colleges and universities are the most difficult and uncompromising in their admissions program, accepting only the most accomplished scholars into their undergraduate and post graduate programs. By way of example: Of the more than 30,000 students who applied for admission to Harvard University in 2010 only 2,100 were accepted This is a statistical demonstration of the competitive nature of the admissions process at America’s elite colleges and universities, which bestows, as it does, the lifetime prestige, exclusivity, fellowship and academic recognition on its graduate students.

II. OVERVIEW;
Following extensive research, MORGAN JONES and Partners has developed a professional methodology to qualify and place a limited number of our FAMILY OFFICE SERVICE Clients’ pre-screened candidate students into a select elite American college or university graduate program. Because of the limited intake, these student candidates might not otherwise be accepted and placed at such prestigious American institutions.
Although having access to many in the legacy admissions chain, such as the historic “Old Boys Club” network and powerful Elite School Alumni, Presidents, Provost’s, Dean’s and the various Administrations, as well as prestigious Faculty contacts, we do not rely exclusively on this method of patronage for Client candidate student placement and admission. Rather, our established relationships are integrated into our overall student placement process as a political contact tool as and when required.
MORGAN JONES and Partners not only serves our Client scholar candidates in the college or university, admissions process but also provides a series of orientation, localization and student lifestyle adaptation services in the new academic setting and environment including, but not limited to, assistance with:
Student or other U S Visa | Housing and Accommodations | Academic Tutoring |
Academic Advisor | Legal, Banking, Licenses, Travel | Security and Safety |
In so doing, MORGAN JONES and Partners provides the most comprehensive and personalized 50 elite American College and University Graduate School professional placement admission and Family Office service.

III. AMAP to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT and More
MORGAN JONES and Partners has evolved and applies a strict and well established scientific system to place a Client candidate scholar in elite American colleges and universities as follows:
1) MORGAN JONES and Partners signs a Non-Disclosure and Confidential Agreement with the Client and Student Candidate.
2) MORGAN JONES and Partners provide a Candidate pre-placement Questionnaire to elicit, among other things:
- Desired admission to a specific undergraduate college, and the intended major.
- Desired admission to a named university graduate school, and the intended Masters or Doctorate Concentration.
- Previous secondary or undergraduate college or graduate school education, transcripts, GPA and English proficiency, or the extent of other advanced placement tests (i.e. SAT / ACT, GSAT, LSAT, etc).
- Possession of US or other foreign travel Visas.
- Other confidential study, scholarship, work, personal interest information.
3) MORGAN JONES and Partners will review, analyze and evaluate the Student Candidate Questionnaire in order to establish the working parameters and strategic path by which to integrate the registration and placement at an elite American college or university. Areas of important pre-admission process consideration, especially for advanced graduate school candidates, take the form of an English Language Proficiency testing process to determine the candidates second language skills in order to manage the Harvard, Yale, Johns Hopkins or Stanford Masters Degree THESIS competency; which demands comprehensive reading and, in particular, writing skills.
Based on the above, MORGAN JONES prepare an individual “AMAP” (Academic Major Aptitude Procedure), which serves as a guide and milestone plan of TACTICAL STEPS (including, but not limited to: US Visa strategies; Elite Institution introduction; orientation; academic advisor meetings; and Graduate School administration visit and meetings. This is followed by an Elite Institution pre-registration planning, admissions testing and final registration enrollment management process for our Client candidate student.
MORGAN JONES and Partners reviews, adapts, facilitates and manages all aspects of the “AMAP” process from which to compose a report to the Client, on a pre-established schedule, outlining the critical path, schedule, program steps, progress and accomplishments until the candidate student is registered and admitted and begins attendance at the respective elite American college or university graduate school.
Successful admission to an elite American college or university graduate school is only one aspect of the MORGAN JONES and Partners Family Office services assignment and activities for our Client and their student scholar. In addition, we observe, monitor, support and manage the Client student’s academic development, progress, lifestyle and related activities at the education location. Although MORGAN JONES and Partners cannot, does not and will not assume any liability for individual conduct, behavior, study habits and academic standing of any Client’s student, we can establish a platform, framework and system to promote success.
